EVAPORATIVE GAS COOLING / ATOSPRAY™ SYSTEM
Cooling a hot gas stream by direct injection of water, which completely evaporates to cool.
This system can be suitable for several industral processes, such as: incinerators, kilns, furnaces, in a wide range of applications:
- Cement: Gas Conditioning Tower, Bypass Tower, Kiln End Sprays, Clinker Cooler
- Steel: Electric Arc Furnace, Basic Oxygen Furnace
- Non Ferrous: Copper or Nickel Converter Offgas Cooling

CATALYTIC OXIDIZER
- No water carryover, no water treatment
- Protect downstream equipment: ductwork, baghouses, scrubbers
- Condition gasses for further treatment downstream: ESP, scrubbers
- Protect baghouses and permits use of less expensive filter media
- Particulate conditioning - improve ESP performance

- Optimal temperature range 1000°C to 150°C
