TIDEVANESTM MIST ELIMINATORS

These lamellar demisters are made of zig-zag baffles that make the gas quickly change direction as it flows through the oriented baffles or blades. The liquid droplets, due to their momentum, impact on the baffles and are separated from the gas flow as they are unable to follow the gas streamlines.

TIDEVANETM lamellar filters collect essentially 100% of all liquid particles greater than 8 to 40 microns in diameter, depending on design parameters and operating conditions.

HIGH-PRESSURE VESSEL WITH DEMISTERS

In the photos you can see the high-pressure vessels with demisters that are aimed at NCG removal from the cooled steam.

NCG (Non-Condensable Gases) are odorous compounds generated throughout the kraft pulping process, after gas cooling.

The high-pressure vessel helps eliminating these compounds in order to meet environmental requirements.

In a mill you can mainly find two different types of odorous compounds:

CNCG - Concentrated NCG when the mill generates small volume - high concentrated compounds.
DNCG - Diluted NCG when the mill generates high volumes – low concentrated compounds.
